| The Chixie Dicks
are unique to Ottawa's Music Scene in that we don't compete for gig
times and venues. Instead, we cooperate with community charity
efforts, as well as other musicians, playing benefits for area needs. As all members have regular jobs, it's not a priority to actively seek bookings; especially for pay. This band just loves to play: Live and LOUD and LOTS!  So, with so many
needs out there, it's not too difficult to find a
cause to play for.No buncha Dicks is an island and, as such, it involves much effort and co-operation on all sides to successfully promote and execute events of this nature and Ottawa morning radio personality, Woody, as the band's SpokesDICK, can help. If you have a fundraising need, 
event or concept and you think The
Chixie Dicks might fit your vision, feel free to contact us.If you are not a non-profit group who would like our services, you may still feel free to contact us. The Chixie Dicks will negotiate a fee with proceeds directed to our favourite charities and costs. Ottawa is a great city with a generous community matched by no other. We should draw a tremendous source of civic pride, simply from the concept of people helping people. The Chixie Dicks are grateful for the growing support we receive and we thank you, one and all! |
